Community Integration
Community Integration

At One Vision, our Community Integration (CI) initiatives are designed to empower individuals with disabilities to actively engage in their communities while fostering independence. Through these initiatives, we provide personalized support that helps participants build meaningful connections, pursue personal interests, and participate in everyday activities that promote a fuller, more independent life.

A Special Vacation
For two years, an individual supported by One Vision couldn't vacation with Special Journeys due to unmet support needs. Longing to stay in a hotel again, One Vision collaborated with her to make this dream a reality! She chose to invite an old friend to accompany her to the Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and to go shopping.
The MC Men’s Breakfast Club
This is the "MC Men's Breakfast Club," where friends Terry, Doug, and Steve meet monthly at Perkins in Clear Lake. Their gatherings not only fill their plates but also strengthen their bonds, reminding us of the value of friendship in living our best lives.
Volunteering for a Cause
Individuals supported by One Vision volunteered at Jane Fischer & Associates, removing pop tabs from donated cans to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
A Trip to Pikes Peak
A spirited group of individuals hailing from the Clear Lake area embarked on a whimsical exploration of McGregor, Pikes Peak, Marquette, and Prairie du Chien. The sheer delight and palpable excitement radiating from their faces tell a story of absolute bliss - a journey filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Friends supported by One Vision hit a home run with a trip to see the Iowa Cubs!
The Meskwaki Powwow
A group from One Vision had the chance to attend the annual Meskwaki Powwow in Tama, Iowa. It was an amazing opportunity to experience the rich culture!
